-There is a high hiss level considering no extra cass. gen. This is more noticeable between songs & quiet passages(i.e. Brokedown). -D1T3: Franklin's is improperly tracked. It starts @ :20 of T3. -The final :44 of Disc 1 is blank. -The tuning before Foolish is very limited, not worth noting. -There is a segue from Foolish>Women. -There is not a segue from Women>SOTM. -There is no segue from Box>Estimated. -D2T7: includes Drums & Space which starts @ around 9:29 -D3T1: starts with Drums not Space -D3T4: dropout @ Track ID -D3T4: very end of Sugar Mag is cut @ 8:23 -D3T5: 1st couple notes of Brokedown are clipped |

11/13/2003 | Ryan | Indeed, there is a high amount of hiss for such a clean looking lineage.

stick with the Nak cm 300s, this board is a big disapointment :( too many cuts and pauses. |

05/08/2004 | Matt | That said, I feel that the Nak source by Jill & Rob (per Healy) has bad clipping in the more intense passages. I am a BIG fan of virtually ALL pre-Vince 1990. I have always had a special interest in these 2 shows, with the 23rd taking top honors in my book !!! What a second set .... The 'Eyes' is glorious, but the 'LL Rain' is simply stunning with the cracking/pounding 'thunder' and it is pure GD psychedelic bliss, BUT that is where I first noticed the clipping/distortion (for verification of statement). I have gotten the "Jill & Rob Nak/per Healy" recordings for a lot of 1990 shows that didnt circulate in SBD at the time. BTW, for the record- I love great AUD recordings and I do agree the SBD is def. not a sweet Healy Matrix by any means ! Kinda sucks too b/c there were sooooo many Matrix versions for a lot of the kick ass 1989 - 1990 shows, especially from the June West Coast swing ....
02/14/2008 | charlie miller | There are 2 tape flips in the first set which leads me to believe there are 2 cassette gens, plus this does not sound like a master.
08/09/2008 | mydland_years | If you are burning this to CD's , delete d2t07 , as d3t01 is the complete Drums->Space track , minus the 8 second dropout during Space , I'm surprised this hasn't been brought to light here yet .
