11/06/2000 | Shane L. | Wow, this show sounds damned good considering the era. Glad to see some 83 shows with the sound quality this has.
11/06/2000 | Shane L. | It seems that the md5 for d2 is also the md5 for d1.

The md5s for the 2 tracks on d2 are: 31b677ecef2f15055535d64e0f767e22 *gd83-04-13d2t01.shn and 6beed71b5dacb073e6b998e91e4d4bf0 *gd83-04-13d2t02.shn sorry for any confusion |

There are some digisnits. I cleaned up three spots just prior to the beginning of Morning Dew. Not sure if there are more or not, haven't listened to the rest. |

12/20/2000 | Rob Robar | WOW! I have had this show on Analog for years and was laways a fave. Especially set 2. The Scarlet>Fire>Estimated >Eyes is one not to be missed. The sound quality is very good and a definate upgrade for me. I have made CDR covers for the show which can be found at : http://www.geocities.com/headway_graphixx/index.htm. I did break the discs down differently as I could not see breaking up the Set 2 opening sequence. It also makes it so you don't need the 80 min disc. You may need to smooth the cut between Firs and Estimated. I used Cool Edit 2000 to do a quick fade. This was only on my personal copy.

Seems that the above-listed md5 file for disk 3 also contains the md5s for disk 1 -- the circulating versions should all have the correct md5s, but fyi, here are the disk 3 md5s: fa75233196849e2f9d17eac48bfba4a6 *gd83-04-13d3t05.shn 5d58dcf5031dd9e7fc20cfef6e71281a *gd83-04-13d3t02.shn f24ea56f03dc53029e2409bee51ac8b2 *gd83-04-13d3t03.shn 35ad685dcd568a653c1ea51c34052420 *gd83-04-13d3t04.shn 8e2f59a53a0019d8cd78f069d7830565 *gd83-04-13d3t01.shn cee52cd33cbaba50cc178aa938c6c166 *gd83-04-13d3t06.shn 744bd7bee9ddd3c9c8a38d99f72f6c49 *gd83-04-13d3t07.shn c96d55b7d66426d8846f61cff3e33eb3 *gd83-04-13d3t08.shn 173c398df3734149abc335f6552b999d *gd83-04-13d3t09.shn |

12/29/2000 | Diana Hamilton | Oops, my fault for the classic db editing error on the md5s! :( They're fixed now, thanks gentlemen.
02/22/2001 | A. Liu | Vocal prescence are quite strong for the first 5 tracks on disk one (weak on instrumental, especially Jerry). Otherwise, quite listenable and the only '83 show on this site!
06/13/2002 | Cale Miller | Most of Morning Dew (from about 3:30 to 9:30) is spliced from a audience source. The audience recording is nice, but the lineage is unknown.
06/14/2002 | puddles | I also love this show although I find it may have been Dolbied or DBX-ed to death...anyone else find the sound a little stop n go or flat?...peace.pudds.

Upgrade over the version on GD Live.com A tiny bit muddied compared with some of the other "crispy" 83 shows. The drums don;t "thump" away like on 10.21.83, but I'm nitpicking. Still a bang up job to get this show in wide circulation. Thanks a bunch |
