Here Is The Story On This Recording.Ross Was The Manager At The Radio Shack In Redwood City,CA.He Obviously Got A Good Deal On The Mics.He Would Tape A Show,Then Go Back To Radio Shack And Get To Work.He Took The Two Best Floor Model Cassette Players In The Store,With The Best E.Q. Placed In Between.He Would Them Master Ever Song Separately.He Did Cut Out All Crowd Inbetween Songs,And Do Fades.This Causes It To Sound Like A D.A.O. Copy.It Is No,t He Just Did All The Editing That Way.There Was The Original Tape Flip After D1T03.The Remasrered Copy Had A Flip After D1T04.There May Have Been A Flip During D2T02 Also.

A patch with the last three songs was recently circulated vit bt.etree.org, details are below: Jerry Garcia Band The Stone San Francisco,CA 5/12/84 end of show *These files can be appended to the end of the flac set seeded by Jason Flair (Ross Douglas master) to complete the show* MAC (Taped by John Corley, undetermined gear) > ? > CD > Plexwriter PX-W4824A extraction (EAC v0.9 beta 4) > patching and slight editing (SF Studio 6.0) > tracking (CD Wave v1.6) > sector boundary verification (shntool v1.01) > FLAC encoding (Flac Frontend v.1.7.1 etree edition). d2t03- Russian Lullaby [12:57] -> d2t04- Gomorrah// [5:47#] [0:03] d2t05- Midnight Moonlight [7:49] [0:05] Notes: - There was a moment of applause between Russian Lullaby and Gomorrah, in the middle of which I did the patch, with a 0.25s crossfade. As a result, you may want to replace d2t03 (Russian Lullaby) from the original seed with this track, or you can just tack on the last two (though there will be a bit of overlap since you can faintly hear Gomorrah starting up before the fadeout on the original seed. - Only other edits were to smooth the cut on Gomorrah with a 0.1s fade-down and to apply a 0.5s fade-down to the applause at the end of the show.
