Notes: This is the complete JGB set. Bobby and the Midnights opened,
showtime was 1:30 PM. I used Soundforge to make fades, soften the pops,
and remove some sub-second silent gaps. This is an excellent AUD of
a kickin' 82 show. Some minor flaws noted, as follows: the first 0:25
of How Sweet It Is in mono (due to channel drop out); the first 1:57
of Run For The Roses also in mono; light crackle in right channel 0:13
in How Sweet It Is; and pops in right channel in How Sweet It Is at
0:31, 0:35, 3:39, and 3:43. Start of They Love Each Other and Run For
The Roses very slightly clipped. Big thanks go to Jake Feinberg for
the source disc! ENJOY!

12/26/2006 ststeve11 More info on this show: I provided this recording to Jake. Here's what I know about the history and what I did in transfering this show. Excuse me if I don't follow established protocols, I'm no expert. Show was recorded by a friend of a friend named Link. Cassette I transfered off of was given to my friend by Link. I used Nero to record to my hard drive. Link must have had problems with a mike because there was a lot of noise in one channel to open How Sweet It Is, and a bit later too during Run for the Roses. I used Cool Edit to clean this up by pasting the clean channel over the deleted noise. I'm pretty sure Link was turning his recorder on and off to conserve tape. The tape had some hard cut-ins that I softened a bit with fade-ins. Tape flip was during The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down, late in the song. I used Cool Edit to (seamlessly, it seems) edit out the tape flip by carefully aligning "Na-na-na's" on both sides of the flip. The CD I have, and the copy I sent to Jake was never compressed.

Hope this helps the technophiles!
