02/21/2002 | Ryan Burns | Tracking is off! D1T03 has like the first 3 minutes of Black Throated Wind on it. D1T04 starts in the middle of BTW. What the heck?
02/21/2002 | Ryan Burns | OOOps...make that about 45 seconds.
01/13/2005 | Jack | There is a drop out in China Doll I think about 25 or 30 seconds are missing. Other than that a great sounding seed.
01/14/2005 | Charlie Miller | Correct source is SBD>DAT>CASS MASTER>DAT>CD
01/25/2006 | Jack | I don't often disagree with Charlie but, I believe this show is a DSBD. I feel the best way to test if a recording has an analoge gen is to amplify a quiet portion in between songs say 300% if there is any hiss you will here it. This show seems clean to me.

The drop out in China Doll is from the Tape Flip. cm |

10/10/2007 | charlie miller | There is a cassette gen and someone used some kind of noise reduction EQ'ing on this. You can see it in the spectral analysis.

FYI: Just to confirm things. I have the sbd cassette master at my house (which I just transferred). It has the same tape flip in the same spot in China Doll. This seed is in fact from a cassette master which has been poorly EQ'd. When you hear my new seed you'll understand why I say poorly. It sounds so much better without the EQ'ing. |
