According to:
Dave Lewis, Simon Pallett: Led Zeppelin - The Concert File, 2005 ISBN 978-0711953079
Led Zeppelin performed "Babe I'm gonne leave you" and "You shook me" end of March 1969 in the TV studios of Radio Bremen for the "Beat Club" show. The producers of Beat Club weren't really impressed/amused by Zep's performance and did not broadcast the filmed material. Only in spring 1970, when "Whole lotta love" became popular in Germany, the Beat Club producers used the previously filmed material to produce a video clip using the commercially released version of "Whole lotta love" for the clip's audio portion. The originally recorded audio portions were not used. The "Whole lotta love" clip was aired on March 28, 1970, Beat Club #53.
This unfortunately incomplete version of the previously unaired "Babe I'm gonna leave you" is captured from a recent broadcast of "Vinyl -- RockPopGeschichte(n)". Now if only the show hosts Joerg Sonntag and Dirk Boehling would learn how to make people like us happy: by airing complete clips and not to talk while the clips are running... hopefully someone hears my prayer...
Mind your karma, never make any profit with this recording and share freely.
This recording is brought to you freely by

Perhaps it is possible to get a copy of the master of this show, but for all intents and purposes, this is the best
source you're going to find. This is also the complete version of this tape - incomplete versions have been released
on various bootlegs over the years.
Sound quality is quite good for an audience tape of this era. The instruments are well-balanced and distinct, and
there isn't very much audience noise. To my ears, this show benefits greatly from some rather drastic EQing (I
really crank the mids up, the low frequencies down, and give the highs a boost when I listen at home), but as
always, I have left the show exactly as I received it, so you can flavor to taste.
The performance is energetic, with Plant's voice raw and huge and Page's fingers flying. This is from the period
before the second album had come out, but after most of it had been recorded, so the setlist has evolved from the
winter and spring '69 shows. Of particular note is Plant's adlib during ICQY, in which he directs his ire at a
rowdy fan who apparently threw a bottle onto the stage. "If you think you're really very smart/why don't come up here
and do that thing again." Judging from photos, Plant weighed about 130 lbs at the time, so I'm not sure what he
would have done had the bottle-tosser made his way to the stage.

Source 2: unknown gen Cass > X-Fi > Clean! >WaveLab > FLAC > dBPowerAMP > WAV (sean_the_bootlegger source), speedcorrected
Original notes from Sean:
This is a very good tape. It appears our taper was concerned about running out of tape, so he shut it down often between songs and subsequently chopped a few things up. Still, it's worth grabbing.
Source 2: 2nd gen Cass > Video Hifi > X-Fi >WaveLab > FLAC > dBPowerAMP > WAV (sean_the_bootlegger source), speedcorrected
Original notes from Sean:
The end of the June 11th sources. Though the show is still not complete, it does include at least some of Heartbreaker. During Ten Years Gone and No Quarter one channel dropped out completely. I repaired them by turning the missing sections into mono. Unfortunately the video hi-hi had some trouble tracking in some places. Murphys Law. So, for the purists, here it is anyway...one more source.
Note : the 2nd gen Cass > Video Hifi source is from the same taper as source 2 (same cuts, same crowd noises), it sounds much worse even though it's listed as a known gen (but see Sean's notes. It's a bit more complete and it's been used to complete source 2 wherever possible.
