Come on in My Kitchen

Performance took place in the early morning hours of 11/04/1974 and was broadcast live WLIR then. It was rebroadcast during waking hours shortly thereafter. This was, essentially, a rehearsal for the the Radio City show on 11/04. The WLIR and Ultrasonic staff made quick arrangements to record the session. After the performance Dickey wanted to hear them again, and again, and finally, at about 4:30 a.m., the staff essentially threw him out of the studio, which did not sit well.
Per etreedb convention, the show is listed as 11/03, although listings on 11/04 also exist.

Billed as Dickey Betts & the Great American Music Show
Info:
Betts’ Great American Music Show featured many of the players from his solo album, including the greatest fiddle player of his generation, Vassar Clements. Both the Poindexters and the legendary Spooner Oldham were also on board, and all these musicians combined to create a show that authentically traced the history of American music.
