The violin player takes a cell phone call and says she has to leave. The drummer storms off stage. It's obviously a joke. They eventually reconvene for the final jam, after some musical chairs and shuffling around ^ - Will on banjo, Beth Custer on bass clarinet and Adam Levy (from Norah Jones' Handsome Band) on Will's electric guitar. Also Jennie Scheinmann on a 2nd violin. This song sounds very familiar to me... possibly a movie theme or a Django Reinhardt tune, or both?

Will Bernard Trio - Will Bernard (guitar; piano on D2T2) Ches Smith (drums) Keith McArthur (electric bass) ^ - Will commonly precedes "Sultan" with this jam based on a Peter Apfelbaum composition; just not sure of the name. # - w/ "3rd Stone from the Sun" tease ending * - w/ "Tequila" jam ** - Will had amp problems at the beginning of the 2nd set; there was some intermittent crunchiness. At one point (around 18 min), in protest he put down his guitar and sat down at the upright piano that was sitting unused in the corner. Although the piano wasn't mic'ed in the PA system, you can still hear a lot of the keyboard action from this onstage recording. ^^ - Extremely loose improv's based on these classic rock/traditional themes (I Don't Live Today is by Jimi Hendrix, unsure of others).
