Recorded at Festival Hall, Melbourne and filmed by Channel 9 TV for "The Beatles Sing For Shell" (broadcast on July 1st, 1964). The quality is not very good (as good as the previous day performance): there is a balance problem but this time with the voices. Note: the date of this show has only been recently discovered. Before that, it was assumed that it was a 16 Jun 1964 show. Live in the Festival Hall, Melbourne 1964. 7. 17 Jun 1964 Evening show. Recorded at Festival Hall, Melbourne and filmed by Channel 9 TV for "The Beatles Sing For Shell" (broadcast on July 1st, 1964). Live in the Festival Hall, Melbourne 1964. 8. 17 Jun 1964 Evening show. Recorded at Festival Hall, Melbourne and filmed by Channel 9 TV for "The Beatles Sing For Shell" (broadcast on July 1st, 1964). Several sources for this track exist. Live in the Festival Hall, Melbourne 1964. 10. 24 Jun 1966 Live at the Circus-Krone-Bau, Munich 1966. 11. 24 Jun 1966 Live at the Circus-Krone-Bau, Munich 1966. 12. 24 Jun 1966 Live at the Circus-Krone-Bau, Munich 1966. 13. 24 Jun 1966 Live at the Circus-Krone-Bau, Munich 1966. Introduced by George as a track from "Beatles For Sale" 14. 24 Jun 1966 Live at the Circus-Krone-Bau, Munich 1966. 15. 24 Jun 1966 Live at the Circus-Krone-Bau, Munich 1966. The Beatles complete lack of pre-tour rehearsal was proven before "I'm Down", John, Paul and George having to confer on-stage about the lyric in the first verse. In spite of this, though, Paul still managed to make a hash of it, and also messed up the next two verses. This CD features 3 concert excerpts. Track 1-3: London 1964 Track 4-9: Melbourne 1964 (Australia) These tracks were taken from an australian TV production. This programme included 9 Beatles tracks. Here are reproduced only 6. "She Loves You", "Till There Was You" and "Roll' Over Beethoven" should have normally been inserted after "All My Loving" but the tape was of bad quality. Track 10-15: Munchen (Munich) 1966 (Germany) This concert was filmed by the ZDF (German TV channel). Initially the concert comprised 11 songs: "Rock'n'Roll Music", "She's A Woman", "If I Needed Someone", "Day Tripper", "Baby's In Black", "I Feel Fine", "Yesterday", "I Wanna Be Your Man", "Nowhere Man", "Paperback Writer" and "I'm Down". The TV programme omitted "If I Needed Someone", "Day Tripper", "I Wanna Be Your Man" and "Paperback Writer". This CD is basically a copy of the TV show but "She's A Woman" is not included.
