This was the free show (on April 19, 1980) that was held after the Zimbabwe independence celebration; many mislabeled forms of this concert exist. A riot broke out on the first night of these shows (on April 18, 1980), and so that show was cancelled. Probably incomplete.

Often labeled as Chester, England. Deeside Leisure Centre is actually located in a town called Queensferry in Wales. Sometimes also mislabeled as Crystal Palace 80. Has a very slow mellow feel but still very intense. According to a newspaper article the show closed with "Get Up, Stand Up", so the circulating source is incomplete. More songs are likely missing.

Tracks 1-8 are known as the Pomp and Pride Demos. Here's some info about that:
"Pomps and Pride" and "Russian Invasion" have yet to see any official publishing. There is some speculation as to when this stuff was recorded...Stephen Davis writes in his Marley biography that Bob was preoccupied with "Slogans" while in London during the summer of the 1980 Uprising Tour...others believe that while he might have worked on the song he did not start recording early versions until later that same year (September, Essex House, NYC)
To sum it up I guess the general consensus at this point is that this material was recorded between 1979 and 1980. Possibly recorded at Essex House, NYC, NY in September 1980.
Tracks 9-21 are from the same period. Maybe some tracks are part of the Pomps and Pride, but others certainly not.

These are known as "The Bedroom Tapes." It is Bob Marley working on new tracks in his mother's house in Jamaica that were never released. Hence, I do not know the names of these songs. This is Bob, a guitar and a 4 track. Nuff said.

This is in fact one long jam track, which was cut into separate parts. Listening to it, it sounds as 1 track, no silences between the parts.
it's recorded in 1980 and Afghanistan is probably the main inspiration of this gem.
Taken from the BM ultra rarities CD set.
