This recording is probably from a late night jam session which could have taken place at the Royal Horse Jazz Club either the evening before the show or the evening after the show at the Sankei Hall 1978-03-09 Note: Let me pull on your coat for a minute. A small miracle occurred, whereby a woman who used to be a waitress at the Royal Horse Jazz club in Osaka, obtained a cassette copy of the show. Without any prompting on my part, she came to my flat in S.F. to visit my roommate, and when she saw various Waits imagery in the flat, she inquired, told me she had it, and I got to borrow the cassette and design a CD package for her and some friends. This was all back around 2007. One of the Holy Grail's of missing Waits shows was just down the block from me. Soundboard Recording.
