After nearly 13 years as an independent record label Candle Records finally closed down with a series of concerts culminating in 14 acts playing over two nights at the famous Corner Hotel. The bands alternated between two stages to a full house of around 750 people.
This was a difficult two nights to record from the middle of the crowd and the earlier acts suffered from crowd chatter. However, they were great nights for lovers of independent Australian music that featured some of the best singer-songwriters in the country.
This torrent features the first four acts of the first night. You may not have heard of them but give them a try !
