Ace was released May 1972 As with the other compositions in this series I've used tracks contemporary to the album release. In this case they are all from Euro '72, apart from Walk In The Sunshine and Cassidy. # This was never played live. This track is a solo acoustic reference made with lyricist John Barlow, recorded at Bob's Marin home during Fall of 1971, and is called "C Shuffle." Cassidy was first played live in March 1974 and then didn't appear again until June 1976. People that know will not be surprised to see that I chose a track from Bickershaw, 05/07/72 . Garcia plays pedal steel on Looks Like Rain, one of the best versions I've heard. All tracks have been altered in some way for the purpose of this composition SIRMick October 2006
