The Broken Angels began as an ever-changing confederation of Grateful Dead-influenced musicians, organized by David Gans, which first came together in "The Dead Experiment," a regularly scheduled series of jams on Tuesday nights at Blake's on Telegraph in Berkeley. The weekly series ran from January through September 1997. At this show, the Broken Angels were : David Gans - electric guitar, vocals Henry Kaiser - electric guitar Duane Day - electric bass, vocals Clayton Call - drums with Dose Hermanos: Tom Constanten - keyboard Bob Bralove - keyboard, vocals.
