NIGHT OF DRUMS
2. Regionale Trommelnacht, 18th Oct 2003, Neubausaal, Schwäbisch Hall, Germany
CDs 1 - 6 feature mainly drum and percussion musicians from all over the world (see description below).
All the musicians here were living in South Germany at the time of the recording.
The night was full of authentical traditional music from Asia, South America and Africa as well as fusion of all kinds.
CD 7 is a fine performance of sitar and tabla music which closed this exciting and sometimes ecstatic night in a more contemplative way.
