Purple Chick presents the pretty much complete Shangri-Las! All their released tracks in mono, plus all available stereo mixes including some which have never appeared on CD and some that have never been released at all. As if that’s not enough, we also found some tantalizing session extracts (including Betty singing lead on “Leader Of The Pack”) and even an all-too-brief fragment of a completely unreleased song. Also, because we had a little room on Disc Two, we threw in a few other Red Bird recordings which utilized the same backing tracks as the Shangs’ recordings.
