Grateful Dead In The Dark Live released July 6, 1987 I wasn't going to do this because I'm not a big fan of Brent. However, I was listening to the original release in the car the other day and I've got to admit that I enjoyed most of it. There's some good songs!! So for all you Brent lovers, I hope you like this. I might even be able to persuade my friend Robbie to listen to this, even if it is way outside of the zone. I decided to use all aud recordings for this because, unlike the golden years, there are lot of good quality ones available. As usual, all tracks have been changed in some way for this compilation. 1. Evening Magazine (KPIX) 7-14-87 This short feature was spawned by the whirlwind of publicity the Grateful Dead received in the summer of 1987. With the new album "In The Dark", the surprising hit song "Touch of Grey" and the MTV video of that song, The Boys were on a very big roll. As if these things weren't enough, they did huge stadium concerts with Bob Dylan. Nice interviews, some historic footage, and plenty of live concert clips (Frost Amp. 1985 & 1987, and very cool Greek Theatre 1981) will hold any Deadhead's attention. 2. 7-24-87 Dead/Dylan news report (KRON) Reporter: Don Knapp 3. 7-24-87 Dead Dylan news reports (KGO) Reporter: Aaron Edwards 4. 7-24-87 Dead/Dylan news report (KPIX) Reporter: Stan Wilson
