DAO - Vocals lack. Sounds like he had a bad night or couldn't handle the lyrics. Was this even Belladonna or Chuck Billy? Would like to hear the "We're taping this" official version to hear the mixing. Guitars sound kind of low missing sharpness of a lead guitar. If you want classic Anthrax, get a recording of the original lineup from 1986/1987 when Belladonna could hit the notes. |

I now understand why Ian didn't last long in Sabbath. "Born Again" was a great album, but when he attepts to sing older Sabbath, hang it up. TAO - Considering this is so old, pretty good sound quality, though I wonder if the tape was dragging on one generation or if it was just the drugs kicking in on the taper and/or Jim. If you are a die-hard Doors fan, ask for this. If you are a casual Doors fan, find a better show. After "Light My Fire" chaos ensued, and Jim was thrown into the audience. Jim is extolling and insulting the audience throughout the show. He is later charged with Lewd & Lascivious behavior (Felony), Indecent Exposure (misdemeanor), Open Profanity (misdemeanor), Drunkenness (misdemeanor). This has "Moonlight Drive" which is likely filler. The show ends with "Light My Fire" and Jim saying "We're not going to leave this place until we all get our rocks off" |

DAO - As much as I dislike Howard Stern, I had to have this dramatic piece of history. CD2 Track 2 at 17:00 Howard gives the first mention of the attacks. CD3 has a bit of static on Track 1. Eventually can't play CD 3. CD 5 also has static towards the end. I have determined that his is a result of the disc that was copied from has deteriorated. Because of the nature of this recording, I will continue to offer, but be aware of the condition! |

There is one blip at the beginning of track 4, similar to a TAO blip, but it is not. Also, There is some poor cutting of announcer's voice at the beginning of "Check It Out." Also, my disc has the 10/7/98 performance of "Your Life Is Now" from David Letterman show as the last track. Good disc! |

Slightly different from this setlist: Track 1 is an introduction/interview with KT/"Another Place To Fall." T4 - Kirk solo. T5 "Am I Evil." T7 "Fight..." - filler? Definite cut between 6 & 7. A different source too. According to www.metlive.com/setlists87.html these were played. DAO - Interesting with a symphony behind them. I didn't really get into this whole phase of Metallica and am glad they moved on. This almost sounds like too much of a mix of too many sounds trying to be something. There are several blips throughout the show, most being from radio editing certain words. Blips occur at the following spots: Disc 1 T3 - 2:37; T4 - 3:41; T6 - 0:41, 2:54, 4:36, 4:49; T10 - 2:23; DISC 2 T1 - 1:12; T2 - 3:21; T7 - 4:00. |

DAO - Though somebody in the course of history of this recording has gone through and done some editing I believe. Most likely taking out periods of audience noise. This sounds like I would expect of a Slayer show that is over 20 years old. This was a small venue, so I am surprised that there is even a recording of the show. I was there! Met a 62 year old American stage diver at the show. He taught girls soccer at one of the Air Force bases in Germany. Somewhere I probably have some photos from this show. |

DAO - Starts with an add from the radio station for the show (great to have!), then begins with the show. The sound is very rough at first, with the audience yelling getting annoying, but it eventually fads out and Stevie's playing and singing come through. |

DAO - Emmylou Harris, Gillian Welch and David Rawlings, Patty Griffin, Buddy Miller. Audience recording - still pretty decent. CD 1 has up to and including Gillian Welch "Elvis Presley Blues." There is an extra track, #21, that is only 4 seconds of silence. Too little of Emmylou, though she does ocassionally join as backup singer on some tracks. |

DAO - Audience - Recording levels are a little low to start - Turn up the volume! Track one is only just over 2 minutes of "Rollercoaster." This is one of the few Treat Her Right live shows out there, so it had to be in my collection. Still a good listen, though I would not be able to crank it while driving with the windows rolled down at highway speeds! Audience talking is noticeable but not distracting. |

DAO - Soundboard. Audience was cut out of the end of track 7 so a rough jump briefly but no music lost. Track 11 - David comes back to say something after the song has ended and is cut off, then goes into track 12. Cutting audience noise again? 12 is actually "Don't Break..." Cut audience again between 12 and 13 to do away with what I can only guess is a long time of just audience cheering. |
