Comment
The Blues Band's Paul Jones narrates this informative hour-long BBC documentary on the life of BB King. Broadcast in 1990, the programme features interviews with the man himself and his peers and influences, plus exclusive concert footage taken at one of his homecoming shows, and a gig at Mississippi State Penitentary. The music is great and the big man speaks candidly about his life, his status as one of the pioneering black musicians in popular music culture and his love of the blues.
