Taper Notes:
So after a little build-up from BARN62, we get to my real goal of transferring the DAT tape in question -- this wonderful performance of Leo Kottke and Mike Gordon in the beautiful High Sierra mountains. Perfect music for a perfect day at, in my judgement, the best music festival anywhere! Beautiful surroundings, clean air, huge trees, lots of great friends...and great music. What more could you want?
Anyway, this MG+LK set came after their first album (Clone) and just before their 2nd (66 Steps) was released. I believe it was a one-off show and not part of a tour. Neil Symonette played drums and percussion.
Please help me with the setlist!!!
Enjoy!
Scott
