::: Fine audience recording. Check samples to wade a bit in the sty or see what kind of Roadhog slop yr about to ingest.
::: Warts: Don't elt any of them scare you off, it's definitely enjoyable! First minute or so muffled, then quality increases. Taper shut off deck between some tracks. Couple of speed changes in "Roadhog" & I fixed big speed change from "Friend Of The Devil" to the end. Bit of noise in right channel at times & some hum throughout (see below).
::: Tracks 1-7 are available on a better quality audience recording now circulating as shn 119130.
Recording Information ::: unknown equipment -> master stereo audience tape -> unknown analog tape generations -> unknown generation Maxell XLII-90 cassette, Dolby B on.

Nothing here ever commercially released to my knowledge. If I'm wrong, please advise & I'll take the offending trax offline.
CoolSonics 185 ::::: In memory of Rich Petlock, a true friend & heartfelt Hunter fanatic! My copy came from another Hunter fanatic, Ms Gilboa. Her efforts surfaced more than 20 previously uncirculated early Hunter shows during her trading years. As I thought some months ago when I mastered the half hour 1st generation version, I did have a longer one. "Ariel" is great & there's a killer version of "Cruel White Water" with banjo into a smoking' "Last Flash Of Rock & Roll". Many more '77-79 Bob Hunter shows to surface into the net world from the looks of things, but not of this rare '76 vintage. Savor like a fine wine!
Kudos to Zongo for life support, Lochner for mikes&more & Fast Freddie for runnin' Video Dick's Record Emporium with the bathroom office full of tape decks. Thanks to Hanwaker (few among us can keep his pace). Mountains of gratitude to Davmar, D.White, Sanchez, Elliot, The Florida Kid, Kloiber, Zingg, JTW, Bershaw, Boston Gold, Weeks, Dixon, Moore, Gough & SO many more for all that collecting & sharing... Royal thanks to The Man In The Palace, Doc Tinker, Brinkhoffs, Barely Eatin', Reel Master Gaule, Parrish & all the traders who housed me thru my music acquisition & travel years. Hats off to Brother Kent, Uncle Jake, Little Queenie (& her neighbor Frank) & his honor Ptomaine Thomas. Glasses raised to Byron for musical horizon expansion & much obliged to J & Thurston for keepin' my concert fires burnin' since my continental shift. Thanks to the Mods for keepin' DIME alive. Enjoy, share, give, spread peace. Yers truly, Knees
