Notes from: http://tragicallyhiptour.blogspot.ca
This was the first show of the 2013 Canadian Winter Tour in support of Now For Plan A. This setlist coincides with what we saw out of The Hip on their American Fall Tour as far as structure. What is notable is that Twist My Arm found its way into the setlist for the first time since 2009/11/30 London, ENG.

This was my 10th time seeing The Tragically Hip.  I had quite a long trek to go see them and had to drive from
Kelowna, BC all the way to Cranbrook, BC.  It was about a 7 hour drive made very difficult by the winter driving
conditions and treacherous mountain passes as well as the fact that I hadn't slept at all the previous night.  I
made it there with little time to spare.  I had just enough time to check in to my hotel, take one last stock of my
equipment and make my way straight to the venue.

The crew was very kind to allow me a small footprint for my stand within the SBD cage which was perfect.  I was able
to fly my mics at 10' high and get an excellent capture.  The band themselves were in fine shape and with a
respectful, healthy and well behaved crowd, we were ready to go.

I was lucky to be able to make my way to the 2nd row and hang out there all night.  I managed to get some excellent
video that will eventually make it up to my YouTube page.  Gord was full of energy on this, the band's first show of
2013 and night one of their Canadian leg of the tour.  This night also coincided with the first games of the
2012-2013 NHL hockey season being played due to a lockout finally being resolved.  Gord can be heard making a
comment about it right before starting Little Bones.

No compression was used in the post-processing of this recording to preserve it's dynamic range, listenability and
authenticity.  This recording will naturally sound much better cranked up loud with quality headphones!
Peace & enjoy,
