On the BUDD list, Jeff Tiedrich wrote the following: I want to correct a slight error in the info that is being passed along with this show. On disc 3, the current notes state something like (I'm paraphrasing) "Morning Dew from previous circulating source, with 10-second crossfades." That's not entirely accurate. Here's what it should say. "Entire Morning Dew from previous circulating source, allegedly RM>DAT>CDR. Approximately one and a half minutes of material has been patched in from the commercially-released Europe '72 multitracks to cover a reel change in the two-track source. 10-second crossfades were created at both ends of the patch to minimize the audible differences in mix between the multitrack and two-track sources." |

12/02/2002 | Dave Winters | Not to be picky but, should the correct, complete lineage be S:MR>DATx5>CD>EAC>SHN ?
02/02/2003 | Joe Samaritano | So is the "entire Morning Dew" or just one and a half minutes patched in? That paragraph says both.
04/01/2003 | spak | This is how i hear/read it: The entire Dew is patched from two different sources: you can hear a changeover with ~30secs left in the "Jam" into Dew, presumably into the "RM>DAT>CDR" source. The Europe '72 patch appears to be from ~3:55 to ~6:15, then back into the "RM>DAT>CDR" patch, and finally, into the seed's "S:MR>DATx5>CD" source about 4sec into the TOO reprise. all nicely done transitions. :) overall, this seed/show rocks! especially d2 and d3... thanks khensu. :) |
