Taper notes:  it was HOT HOT HOT on this day -- checking weather.com it claims the temperatures got up to 101 degrees in Bridgeport, CT.  Not a cloud was to be found in the sky.   I spent this set right basking in the shade that could be found when standing just a few feet from the stage, gettin' down with Jen Wexler.  But my mics were firmly planted in their locations so they managed to capture the whole thing.  At this time, the temperatures which had probably peaked during Taj Mahal's set had not really cooled yet.  But at least there was a breeze coming in off the water which helped cool us a little.  My new furry windsceens (a welcome birthday gift from my lovely wife Jen!) made sure that the wind is NOT audible on this recording (though you can hear the sound waves blowing around a bit occasionally).
