01/18/2003 | Mike | A little low on bass but a great recording in terms of instrument separation and clarity. | |

I listened to the first set of this and the first set of the same show from the FOB Nuemann source last night... I think the Schoeps are "crisper" nice sound on Jon and Page... The Nuemanns are "bassy", with a nice full sound on Mike that sometimes drowns out Page. Overall, both are excellent recordings. And I'm not sure I would classify the "pops" mentioned on the Neumann comments as diginoise, though there are a lot of glowstick strikes! STOP THE GLOW WAR! Terry |

06/13/2003 | Adam Bishop | It's hard for me to believe that this is an FOB, I don't doubt that it is though. Personally, this seed is not to my liking. The mixing between the instruments is noticeable here, which is alwasy nice to have. I think the sound is muffled, low bass, low mids, low everythign I guess. Thx to taper for the show though. I'm not saying it is, but it sounds like this is from the taper section. |
