06/13/2001 Bob Gotta love when the person seeding the show doesn't make note of a seed loaded with dropouts and diginoise. I also question the source as being Cass(0). It sounds more like 1st Gen to me.
12/14/2001 Matt If you picked up on drop outs that weren't in the txt. file, why not use the comment space to make a note of them? It seems to me that would have been a better use of this space. I searched for this show for a long time and finally tracked down a DAT. I was thrilled to get it out to the people....I'm glad you listened to it. But instead of using this forum to question my abilty to seed a show the right way, use it comment on what you picked up on. And as far as the source goes, It what was on the DAT.
09/13/2002 Matt Edlhuber I might also add that EVERY track has a Sector Boundry Error. Also...all but one of these tracks gave me an -h flag in shntool, which I had never seen that flag before. But according to a nice shntool tutorial put together by the dankseeds people, I realied that "These properties
are not problems; they are just indicators of WAVE data that is not canonical. There are two entries under this column. The first entry will contain an 'h' if
the WAVE header is not canonical (44 bytes)." Very poor seed IMO.
10/11/2002 ghost well the h in the header just means it was done on a mac. i don't think that will have any issue for us. the track breaks i've fixed and new md5s are coming.
as for the diginoise, lets hear some constructive comments about it and how bad it is. i mean, is it still worth circulating this seed?
10/12/2002 Jason Brantley h stands for header. Many thing can cause extra header info. In this case tracking with Peak added some extra chunks in the .wav header. It's definately not something that makes a seed a bad thing. Unless, of course the .wav is not playable or extractable due to header error.

10/15/2002 ghost i would also like to add that the comment regarding the lineage is a load of crap. there is no way this is a SBD/1. it is clealy a SBD->CASS(0)->DAT. there is no hiss and a nice crisp sound.
10/28/2002 Lucas i haven't listened to the whole show yet, but there is diginoise during golgi (d1t1). the first instance is at 25 seconds in. the second instance results in an actual loss of sound for about half a second (at 35 seconds in). also, when i tried to burn the audio tracks with nero 5.5.9.14 it said the wav files were invalid (unfortunately, with no more explanation). has anyone else had this problem? is it because of the header issue mentioned above? because of the sector boundary issues? i was able to burn using a different program, though.
10/29/2002 Jams I may be able to track down the master cassettes for this show and do a fresh transfer w/o a DAT gen. There should be clean DATs out there as Shapiro put it to DAT from the Master Cass. back around 93-94. Trey sat in with the opening band on Light Up Or Leave Me Alone and I have neever seen this on any circulating copies.
