A Mayhem Inc. Recording.
The Mule returned to Newcastle where they last played only once in 2005.
The converted warehouse type venue historically had been where Robert Stephenson
built the famous "Rocket" steam engine way back around 1829.
By the 2nd set The Mule was travelling like a rocket too, engineering a set that
tore up the planned set list, kicking of with two songs by local musical heroes.
Paul Rodgers was born a few miles away in Middlesbrough with The Animals being perhaps
the most famous of Newcastles musical exports.
The set continued with Warren shouting the next few song titles to the band and
ending with an intertwined 30 days/Doctor that namechecks the city's
(in)famous "Newcastle Brown" ale several times.
Great sound on the night.
Recorded with the permission of the band.
