Last night of the tour, and for me the third concert of the week after seeing Tedeschi-Trucks Band
in Tucson on 5/14 and then Mesa 5/18. Opening act JD Simo was superb, and I regret not recording him.
JD sat in on an epic 20-minute version of Elizabeth Reed and took the first solo, and left the others with
almost nowhere to go afterwards. I strongly recommend you check him out and see him if he's in your area.
The other guitar solos were Duane Betts and Johnny Stachela, in that order as I recall. A solid outfit,
and it will be interesting to see how they develop over time. Cell photos included.
