Notes:
Here's a fresh transfer of my 2nd generation reel of this audience recording. Contrary to the most commonly circulating version (SHN ID#96235) text file, I did not record this show. In terms of quality, itÕs nothing to write home about. I think it was recorded in a stealth manner with the mics unelevated. Its still well worth a listen as Garcia plays far more joyously than anything he was doing with The Dead at the time and its a strong performance all around. As of 2020, no better lineage of this show has ever surfaced and all the circulating sources seem to trace back to cassette and DAT copies of an earlier transfer of this reel. Unfortunately, I can't recall who originally shared it with me. Wish I knew so I could thank him again and possibly track down the masters. I also discovered the beginning of the early show tacked on the end of the reel (only 1st 2 songs, but previously uncirculated) which will follow shortly.
