I Traded for a 3rd or 4th gen cassette back in about 91 or 92 with a guy from Atlanta. Story goes that his buddy owned a bike shop in Jersey and Dan Healy used to patronize the store. Bike store owner got Healy's cassettes and this guy I traded with had 2nd or 3rd gens from the Healy masters.

I transferred the cassettes a long time ago, probably in 2005 or 2006. I don't remember what I used but a best guess is a mid line Onkyo tape deck hooked up to my vintage Vector Research Integrated amp. Sent tape out to Behringer Eurorack UB2222fx-Pro. XLR mains out of the mixer to a Tascam US-224 interface then to the computer via usb and recorded into Adobe Audition 1.5. All editing, tracking done in Adobe Audition.

I still have the cassettes if anyone wants to do a fresh transfer get in touch via private message at Lossless Legs.

03/30/2020	goother	Further discussion about the story of where these tapes came from is likely bogus. Either the guy was tossing a load or had the story wrong. We are 99% sure it was Cutler on the board for this tour so Healy likely had nothing to do with these. FWIW.
