END CONTRAST CLAUSE
I had already prepared this show from a previous soundboard source that was an extra generation recording but
primary source: Source: Soundboard > Master Reel > Dat (48k)
Provided by Rich Gastwirt
Transfer: Dat > Sony PCM-R500 > Sound Devices 744T > wav 16/48
Transfered by Charlie Miller
Lineage: wav > Adobe Audition 1.5 > iZotope RX6 Advanced > iZotope Ozone 5 Advanced > CD Wave > TLH > Flac 16
Etree source ID: 138824 > Several small dropouts in both "Let It Rock" and "Edward", and one in "Let's Spend The Night Together were repaired & a number of pops and clicks were removed (edited and mastered by SIRMick; July 2017) > Dime
Additional edits by grner1:
secondary source for 7 second patch in Edward and after Jerry Pompili’s outro announcement: Bob Menke cassette master: Sony ECM-270 or ECM-250 mics > Sony TC-152 cassette deck > CD's received in trade.
Approx. 46 cent speedup was done to the soundboard source to match the speed of the audience master which was at the correct pitch. Edits and pitch adjustment were done with Pro Tools by grner1; December 18, 2020. Additional track IDs were also added for Nicky Hopkins talk and instrumental interludes. The disc change is seamless.
Billed as Jerry Garcia and Friends. Other artists were Kingfish, Keith and Donna Band and Clover. Show was a benefit for concert poster artist Bob Freid and was known as the Bob Freid Memorial Boogie.
