06/26/2003 | mattman | Nice seed! Just curious what you used for the EQ.
06/27/2003 | nursejoel | Just so you all know, I feel that this show and also 3-20-86 are what made the Hampton mystique and what set up The Warlocks. I was at this show, and the energy was a cosmic force that even Jerry had a heavy time corraling. Just an outrageous night in an outrageous time of my life! Peace!

Peter e-mailed me the following additional source info about the aud patch: "Steve's cassette is the same one I used a couple of years ago. He used a D5 and Nak 300/CP4 mics. . . His masters were played on my Teac Z-5000 deck, and recorded on my Nakamichi BX-300. The same BX-300 was used to record snippets on a Tascam CDW-700 and then imported into Peak, where all editing was performed." |

07/15/2004 | born cross-eyed | I just downloaded this from archive.org and I am skeptical that it is really a matrix. Frequency analysis shows a frequency roll-off beginning in the 16-17kHz range and there appears to be a pilot tone at ~19kHz. In other words, I think this is an FM source. My old cassette of this show is definitely an FM source. Would anyone care to comment?
07/16/2004 | jb | FWIW, the casette I used to have of this show was labelled as having been source from the FM signal they broadcast at the arena sometimes. I don't think this show was broadcast live on any radio station.
07/16/2004 | tj | I?m pretty convinced that this was not a regular FM broadcast, as jb just said I?m certain this is one Healy?s broadcasts which he did for a while in a limited range around the arena.
07/16/2004 | jfw | Healy was definitely doing an FM broadcast to the hallway monitors at this Hampton run. I have a tape of 3/26/88 which was made this way, and you can even hear static as the taper adjusts the frequency.
10/24/2004 | rob smith | Hey peter, long time no see huh? thanks for all the great music then and now . great boards.
10/24/2004 | Charlie Miller | This is from the in-house FM healy was doing on that tour....cm
01/19/2005 | MattMan_Video | While using this source to upgrade the audio stream of a set2 dvd, I found two edits where music is inextricably missing: (1)6.8 seconds between end of Scarlet and beginning of Fire (approximately 1 measure of music); and (2) at 26 seconds before the start of the 3rd verse in Eyes, there is approximately 26 seconds of the solo before the final verse missing.
