The Band:
Les Claypool - bass
Mike Clark - drums
Casey Benjamin - sax (Project Logic)
Brian Haas - keys (Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey)
got this without a setlist, had the following problems: the first "track" was
about 40 seconds of a snippet from another band (Forgotten Souls?), then it
cut abruptly and was followed by 40 seconds of silence, then,
i think its haas, starts welcoming everyone, but that was cut too.
also the encore break had a rude cut in it. so i pulled the beast
into cooleditpro, chopped off the opening snippet and the part up
to the cut in brian haas's welcomes & faded it in. also faded out/in
the encore break - i left the silence as was, just did the fades.
when retracking it, the original had broken out the stage banter into
separate tracks. i didnt feel that was necessary so i left the banter
about the previous song in the previous track and the banter introducing
the next song in the next track. so after i was done with my masterpiece
i noticed i couldnt fit tracks 1&2 on a 80 min disc, i'm not sure if it
ever could've fit on an 80min disc even before my edits. so i was forced to
split track2 into 2 parts, i found a pretty good spot for the disc break.
if you can burn on a media more than 80min, the two parts should be easy
enuff to put back together. -davepeterson
