some crowd noise between songs was cut, in addition to the levels jumping
all around during the entire recording. The vocals and bass are distorted and slightly distant, while the drums are clear. Possibly from poor mic positioning.

'It's all understood' and 'Times like these' have cuts in the beggining of them

According to postings that happened on www.benharper.net in the days after this
show:

http://www.benharper.net/site.php?page=/phorum/read.php%3Ff%3D1%26i%3D50041%26t%3D49976

there were 3 (at least) attempts to record this show. taper 1 thought he recorded
the show only to find at the end of the show that the batteries in his mic had died
pre-show. taper 2 missed "some part, the start and the first song of the first encore".
taper 3 supposedly has a clean copy of the show.

To the best of my knowledge, this is taper 2's recording, taped by a guy named Farid.  The audio CD-R was received from a Jack fan from France (in early 2003) who got it directly from the taper, a friend of her friend.
In her initial contact she mentioned that the taper did not make any .shn files when he converted his recording, and was willing to trade for it in audio format. It only existed in audio CD-R format which was burned a copy in EAC and given to her. After receving the show, I attempted to get from her the taper's name, source info, anything to help differentiate this show from possibly others. After attempting to contact her several times over 6 months, I still have not heard from her and I have searched every known resource to try and add information to this .txt file.

i'm seeding this recording which has a great, one time only played 'excuse me mr.' with the most information that I have collected over the past 6 months. If you have a copy of this show, compare the track times you have to the times on this recording, if they match and you have source info, please pass it onto me. If they differ, you have a different recording and also e-mail me so we can start circulating it.

.shn files made from EAC extraction from a 2nd generation audio CD-R made from master CD-R (see lineage)

If you have any more info on this recording, please e-mail me: thuff@ucsd.edu (10/27/03)
