Notes:
This was the this taper's (Ira's) last show. He passed away not long after making this recording. Ira started taping back in the early 80's.
He was extremely generous with other tapers and always had a bunch of people patched out of his rig. He was very happy with this recording.
A dear friend of his told me he left the Electric Factory with a smile on his face.
The mics he used are 'short shotguns" producing the sound in between a cardiod and a hypercardiod mic.
Thank you to Larry - FLDEADHEAD who supplied the source discs and did the initial editing!
Larry was a friend of Ira's for about 18 years and wanted to make sure Ira's last show made it "out there".
I highly recommend this source, I can't say that it's better or worse than the other 2 sources I've heard, it's different but definitely in your face.
Enjoy! A.F.
