Ambient Master by Tapers From Hell: A Journey to the Impact Zone
Analog master by Mike French and John C. (DelCor Pizza! yummy!)
Mike as the Mic Stand, and John tweaking the knobs.

Sennheiser MKE2002 omni's(x2) HRTF @ 6'4" -> Sony TC-D5M "B"n.r. on the master. From Row WW, section 2, at the right front corner of the sbd, a few feet RoC.
I had one helper and no blockers or quiet zone, so there are some noisy audience issues in places. I was right next to Healy, to my left, and there was crew chatter from the board, as well.
The official taper section for this concert was likely 75 rows behind me (+?), and far to the audience right (as far right as possible). I was fob, near center (5' RoC?), which is the main bonus of this ambient recording.


To the digital realm @ 24/96:
Sony TC-D5M master deck and cassette, no n.r. playback -> Tascam DVRA1000 @24/96, direct to DVD+RW

Imported to Mac G4 10.4tiger via master DVD+RW .wav master disc import.

Processed via Sound Studios 2.2.4 (fades, splits)

This footprint set should supersede any other copies of this show, due a couple of minor alterations, micro-second instances of compression to tame wailing PA anomalies, on this the first night of a run.
After listening to the master for a while, I used a slight and extremely brief touch of compression in a couple of places. Very, very sparingly, but enough to alter the footprint of a recent send to a couple of friends.
