editing/splice notes:
There were several breaks in the recording, for various reasons.
I used the following source for all splices/patches:
FOB Neumann U89(omni Setting) Split 12' -> Apogee AD1000
edits/splices were made at the following spots:
YEM:
[05:25] to [09:45] - Neumann u89 source
[09:45] to [15:48] - Dave's mk4, but resampled from 48 kHz to 44.1 kHz
[15:48] to [15:53] - Neumann u89 source
Slave:
[10:16] to start of Albuquerque = Neumann u89 source
Albuquerque:
[03:25] to [4:04] - Neumann u89 source
During You Enjoy Myself, there was a large drop-out on the DAT.
When it resumed, the next 6 minutes or so were recorded at 48 kHz.
Then another brief drop-out, and it goes back to 44.1 kHz.
I asked Dave about it, and this is what he told me:
"A glow stick hits the apogee during YEM, the apogee battery died during Albuquerque. Thats all I remember. It was a long night."
I resampled the 48kHz section down to 44.1kHz, and then used the Neumann u89 source to splice in the missing music.
DAT switch between YEM and Crosseyed and Painless.
No music was missing and I cross-faded the audience noise for a smoother transition.
Reba - Axilla:
[16:59] (just after Reba actually ends) to [00:16] in Axilla - Neumann u89 source
Uncle Pen - Bowie:
very end of Uncle Pen (just after Uncle Pen actually ends) through [00:17] of Bowie - Neumann u89 source
DAT switch between Uncle Pen and Bowie. A short portion of the Neumann u89 source was patched in for a smooth transition.
DAT switch between Lawn Boy and HYHU.
A short portion of the Neumann u89 source was patched in for a smooth transition, no music was missing from Dave's mk4 source.
