07/23/2002 RMS To be honest, not a very good recording. There is quite a bit of what sounds like wind noise and the entire show sounds almost compressed (like an FM recording). However, the show is first-rate and the source has very good placement... definitely sounds centered to me, although the sonic stage seems fairly far away. In short, a good show and an average recording.
01/18/2003 Wayne Brissette So, why the hell does this show sound like an FM recording?? In short, phasing. The entire night there was heavy winds at an outdoor venue with mic stands swaying quite a bit from side to side the entire night. In short, a huge disappointment from a sound perspective. It's too bad too, because the performance was top notch.
