This source sounds great, A Daud! It is better than some of the shcoeps
I have heard from the summer.

*There is slight digi static on Runaway Jim  D1T01, almost inaudible,
possibly due to an adjustment of the taper's rig.

* - with "Can't Turn You Loose" tease. The "Can't Turn You Loose"
tease actually ended the song, leaving "Stash" unfinished. After "Stash"
Trey announced they were doing a contest and the first person with the
correct answer would receive 4 tickets and backstage passes to any show
of their choice in the next year, and jokingly a date with Fish. The
question was, Other then "Driver" what do all the songs played in the
first set (including the last two) have in common? The answer turned out
to be, they're all in the key of D. The winner was announced over the
house speakers at setbreak. "Happy Birthday" to Trey was sung by some
fans down front, prompted a short "Happy Birthday" tease by the band.
Reportedly, the entire crowd sang "Happy Birthday" prior to the start of
the show as well.
** - Start/Stop jam
*** - with Jon on vacuum
# - Trey did not forget to mention, forget to mention Memphis, "Home of
Elvis and the Rendevous Bar-B-Que"

A few comments from a "front row" perspective, which is what I was
practically. The show was intense, packed with mad crazy stuff that will
make you tingle even if you weren't there. I must say that before I
heard these tapes my friends and I had decided that Pelham(9-28-99) was
better, but now I just don't know.

The crowd down front did sing happy birthday to Trey. They were passing
out a small flyer telling everyone to sing when the lights went down. It
didn't work to well cause no one new exactly when to start, i.e. crowd
to big. Trey seemed happy . . .

Be sure to check my site for CDR covers,
http://members.home.com/will.wilson/covers.htm, I plan on getting some
made in a week or so from the pictures here,

Peace,

P.S. I just wanna give props to the guy with the mirror plated hard-hat,
hope to see you again.
