The String Congress was a one off band put together for YMSB's Kinfolk celebration in 2003. One of my favourite Yonder related side projects, this has the first Jeff Austin version of Zappa's I Am the Slime , a direct relation to King Ebeneezer in Rasheed Eggleston's crazy Mr Blyngwina rap,  a heartbreaking version of John Hartford's In Tall Buildings,  and a tune that should be very familiar to anyone who grew up watching old Warner Brothers cartoons. HIGHLY recommended.

as a bonus, there's an extra disc of a backstage jam from the same Kinfolk Celebration. no idea on exact persoannel, but its great. all instrumental, if anyone can ID the songs, please chime in.
