Liner Notes:
the story - in july of 1997 we were invited to canada to perform at the ottawa jazz festival. we arrived the evening prior to our concert and were greeted with gracious hospitality, excellent beer, fine food, fig champagne - basically all the ingredients of a memorable stay. the following day, as we prepared to embark toward the festival site, it was discovered that our equipment van had been ransacked, and thieves had made off with several of our instruments. while the festival staff scrambled about, rounding up equipment, we put our heads together and resolved to remain undeterred in our quest for viperosity. what you hear is a board tape, and what it lacks in terms of sonic definition and a good mix is made up by what we feel is the passion, heart and humor that were in evidence that day. we hope you enjoy this document of pure viperosity...
special thanks to: rob, roger stauss, jacques emond, trattoria italia, and the people of ottawa
