07/22/2003 | John L | This seed is a significant upgrade over prior seeds in circulation.
07/23/2003 | hanno | But it seems to have cuts that could be repaired from, say, this seed.
07/25/2003 | Kinebro | Where are the cuts?
07/25/2003 | hanno | It says "Help//On The Way", so there should be a cut in there. Now please correct me if I'm wrong, as I have not downloaded this seed.
07/27/2003 | Alpine1989 | Significant upgrade? The previous seed shnid=15114 is pretty damn good.
07/30/2003 | Charles | This appears to be another FM unfortunately. The 19 kHz FM pilot tone is clearly there (as it is for the previous FM sources), so there's no reason to believe this is pre-FM. However, I don't see the high level of compression evident in most (current) FM broadcasts, so I assume little or no compression was used circa 76-77.
02/14/2004 | cea | Can someone please enter the correct info file for this without the dave winters info
07/13/2004 | duain13 | heres a link to a copy without the dave winters cuts http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=5961

Charles is correct. KSAN's 19khz Pilot Carrier is clearly evident in frequency analysis. KSAN used very little compression and if one compares this to other known KSAN broadcasts, the signature is identical. This is an FM source. As far as I have found, no PreFM or SBD circulates for this date. jay |
