08/26/04 Tweeter Center at the Waterfront DVD 1 A Rob Halford as an emergency substitute for Ozzy, who was sidelined due to bronchitis - soundtrack to line feed video - outstanding sound quality - the master of ceremonies erroneously addresses the crowd as "Philadelphia" before reading Ozzy's handwritten apology - Bill Ward also addresses the crowd before commencing the performance -A historic show - Not the band's best performance. Halford misses a lot of lyrics even though he is reading them off a teleprompter.

Show Date Venue Media Type Media Count Sound Quality Notes
03/07/68 The Scene Flac 1 A My copy is known as "Woke Up This Morning And Found Myself Dead" (has shorter set list..8 songs) Johnny Winters did NOT play this show. Just ask him. UniVibes magazine did: UV: You're sometimes credited as playing on a Jimi Hendrix bootleg called `Sky High' along with Jim Morrison and others playing `Red House', `The Sunshine Of Your Love' and several other songs... JW: Oh, I never even met Jim Morrison! There's a whole album of Jimi and Jim and I'm supposedly on the album but I don't think I am `cause I never met Jim Morrison in my life! I'm sure I never, never played with Jim Morrison at all! I don't know how that [rumour] got started." Still, it's a great set.
09/06/70 Open Air Love and Peace Festival Flac 1 My show does not have the 2nd Alternate set. "The Open Air Love And Peace Festival would prove to be Jimi Hendrix's final concert. Joining Hendrix on the bill were Cactus, Emerson, Lake, & Palmer, Ten Years After, Taste, and Ginger Baker's Airforce. The three day festival was beset by troubles which ranged from inadequate security to weather. On September 5, a torrential downpour caused road manager Gerry Stickells to inform the promoters that Jimi would not perform until the following afternoon. In the audience, competing German motorcycle gangs fought each other [and would eventually burn the stage to the ground] with occasional bursts of gunfire peppering the air. : Source www.jimi-hendrix.com

??/??/39 Various Toronto Area Locations DVD R 1 A "All source videos were shared at DaD in June 2005 as a pair of DVDRs without menu. ****************************************************************************** AUTHORING INFO ****************************************************************************** VIDEO: demux -> .mpv -> authoring (no edit but with new chapter points) AUDIO: demux -> .ac3 -> .aif -> remaster -> .ac3 (384k) -> authering ALT. AUDIO for TITLE 2: Audio Bootleg -> .wav -> remaster & adjust pitch -> add missing parts with TV soundtrack -> .ac3 (384k) -> authering Create Motion Menu -> mux all videos and audios -> Compile ****************************************************************************** NOTE ****************************************************************************** First of all, special thanks to Mick (jazzfuze) for sharing all three videos. I found all three videos can fit on single DVDR disc and also I have the FM simulcast of Barrie, On show as CD bootleg so wanted to sync them. Original TV soundtrack is mono but the FM version is clear, loud stereo sound so it must be a excellent one. No doubt the result is just excellent. But the process was not easy. Both video and FM audio had passed several analog generations so the pitch of both sources are different and most importantly, they are not constant. So I have to adjust the pitch for each track with different value. Anyways, the sync process was done in this way. Also, the gain level of source video soundtracks are very low, and has much hiss so done remastering. Convert compressed .ac3 to PCM and then re-convert to .ac3 MUST make damage to the audio signal but the qualities for all audios are not excellent and I believe it is not a big deal. Hope all you Max Webster fans like this product. Jun'ya aka the_sphere Jun. 12, 2005"

05/07/94 Maple Leaf Gardens Flac 2 "Matrix Animated" Full show including encore of YYZ. From approximately 2 minutes into Force Ten, the remainder of the encore is from AppleJack Studio's DVDR release "A Farewell to the Gardens". Unfortunately, the AUD1 source cuts out about 2 minutes into "Force Ten". This is where the compiler mixed in the AUD2 source, which is from a 1st gen video soundtrack.
