Act Naturally For a Short Time The Lonely Goth Father's Day Gallipoli Rosemary A Tale They Won't Believe
Line up: Mick Thomas- Vocals/ guitars Tim Neal- Interviewer / piano Famous Will- Guitar Notes: The first in the 2012 season of "A Conversation In The Key Of" features Aussie music legend Mick Thomas and emerging musician Famous Will. The series is translated by world renowned pianist Tim Neal, making these Sunday afternoon sessions an amazing combination of music, stories and improvisation. Tim Neal provided the intro and questions, and Mick the conversation and songs. An interesting group of songs with stories about each one. Tim's jazz style wandering accompaniment on piano added a new angle to many old fav' songs. Will seemed a bit star struck when playing with Mick and didn't seem to strum much.

Line up: Mick Thomas- Vocals/ guitars Mark Wallace- Squeezebox/ keys/ vocals Jacob Cole- Lead guitar Julian Chick- Bass Cat Leahy- Drums Sal Kimber- banjo vocals Notes: The Off the Beaten Track tour. Friday night gig with the band in fine form. Similar setlist to gig at the Substation 2 days later, but better acoustics. Cat's drumming was a highlight- so many subtleties to her technique. The Caravan is a great venue- highly recommended.
