UCD Archival Recordings These were copied on to an old cassette player in the basement of UCD's audio archives back in 1979 or so by myself when Jackie Small ran the library. Apparently they only used one track when recording in the field in an effort to save tape so these recs only come out of one speaker and have some rough spots on the first track (a few buzzes, some drop outs, some tracks are cut off- I presume Kieran was messing with inputs etc....). Anyhow, I'd say they have never seen the light of day and the sound quality is great on the Peoples, slightly less so on Fahy. All quite listenable of course even if it is in only one channel. I wonder what ever happened to the redhead I shared a ride with from UCD who wanted me to "come in for a cuppa" at 3 am.... I should have taken her up on it. Are you a DIMER? I doubt it.
