30th Anniversary of "Rapper's Delight" In the 70’s, a small independent record label was formed and from that a new genre of music was introduced to people from many different walks of life. That label was Sugar Hill Records and the group was none other than The Sugar Hill Gang. This label and group hailed from New Jersey. The group was comprised of three members, Wonder Mike (Michael Wright), Master Gee (Guy O’Brien), and Big Bank Hank (Henry Jackson). Today, the group now goes by the name The Original Sugar Hill Gang. It consists of two of the original members, Master Gee and Wonder Mike, and has two new members, HenDogg (Henry Williams) who replaced Big Bank Hank and DJ T. Diamond (Tracy Temple).
