*_Please verify everything you burn sector by sector_*
Even raw rips are subject to the perils of physical read/write issues so check everything you rip or burn so that it transfers error free. Please try to keep the blood pure and do what you can to NOT unwittingly propogate damaged goods. If a recording I have is flawed or from a "dirty" source, I will make note of it, and I hope you will do the same. It's allways better to know ahead of time.
When trading SHNs or MP3s, make checksums when you rip. I try to live by the honor system, and measure the quality of a person's copies by their results, not their format choice.
To put is simply:
Error free discs = Happy.
"Skipper-ski...POP-d-deeet!" = Crappy.
I burn with Taiyo Yuden inkjet printable CDRs, and have just recently decided to never write on any cd's I burn for people- I will write what they are on an attached post-it. You can decide how you want to label it- it's just way too much pressure to know what the right thing to do is, so it is up to you.
FTP/SCP Upload/Download:
128K upload or better only please. Contact me and I can arrange service. MD5 checksums for all files. SHNs always preferred but open to hi-rate mp3s if you did it right.
- Love what your Share; Share what you Love - Respect quality; Expect quality -
- And most of all... Have Fun! -

the final "That's it for the Other One" (aka: "Cryptical Envelopment", but i prefer to go by the titles as originally released), and IMHO, the best of the '85 versions; also, the final "Nobody's Fault"; as noted in text file, it will fit on 2 audio discs, however, (again, IMHO) this breaks up the continuity. |

A show of surprisingly good quality for the time period- the auditorium really enhances the pressence of this recording- it sounds downright creepy. There are a few occasional tape noises at the beginning of some tracks, but otherwise the tracks sounds great.

During the early DSOTM shows there was no sax or female backup so it sounds a bit primative, and the boys are clearly a little wasted and Dave messes up the lyrics more than I've heard in one show. Also, the first set is almost entirely recorded slightly off pitch, but you would never notice it if it didn't go back to normal in the middle of 'Brain Damage' (how appropriate). The second half of the show on the other hand sounds rather unusual and is worth it, if only for the playing of 'Saucerful of Secrets'.

Epic 'One of these Days' not included on this show's entry for some reason. Crowd noise obnoxios at times, but often amusing. The mic must have been covert within the cheap seats. The quality of the recording itself is excellent, however.
Dave really get's that super-steel guitar sound in this show, possibly assited by the accoustics of this venue. OOTD demonstrates this well, I think.

This show has been mislabled as being a 1972 London show so many times, even some show references list it that way, but I assure you this show is Wembley 74. Consider how minimalist DSOTM sounded live in 72 and how rich and jazzy it sounds here.
There is some breif digital clicking in the middle of "On the Run", but otherwise perhaps one of the best quality recordings of an old show, and an epic concert to boot. This recording lacks the final track from this show, Echoes.
This show also appears as a packaged ROIO called Brain Damage.
I am seeking a flawless recording of this show, as well as one with Echoes, so if you have this, PLEASE let's trade. |

Complete show! Original, faster tempo "You've Gotta Be Crazy". Compare this excellent audience recording to the pristine soundboard from the night before and it sounds like a different venue. |

Complete concert! This show is remarkably played in a remote Canadian rugby field, and while an audience recording, the crowd is clearly transfixed and silent once they music starts.
This show also appears as a packaged ROIO called Ivor Wynne, however that recording is not the complete show, regardless of the impressive packaging. |
