Notes: Bruce and the band took the stage to the sound of Sinatra's "My Kind of Town," for a Chicago one-night-stand that may have been back to basics setlist-wise, but still had its fair share of razzmatazz. They had to wait a bit longer during "Sunny Day" when the lights went out onstage, making for a marathon version of the song. As the band kept playing, Bruce messed around with some flashlights and brought the crowd-participation bit back around three times until the lights finally came back on. That (along with the three reprises of "Dancing in the Dark") may help explain why, at 25 songs, the show lasted three hours and ten minutes. Setlist notables were "Adam Raised a Cain" to open, "Working on the Highway" (rather than the setlisted alternate "Spirit in the Night") "Backstreets," "Where the Bands Are," and an audible "Seven Nights to Rock."
