This Was The Last Show Elp Ever Did With An Orchestra. Prior To This Performance Elp Were To Play 30 Scheduled Shows Without The Orchestra. The Last One With, Was Madison Square Garden, New York City 7/9/77. As Of 3/29/05, This Is The Only Totally Complete Version Of The Performance In Circulation!! Here Is The Entire Story. There Are Some Rare Audience Tapes Of The Show But They All Did Not Have The Complete ?fanfare? Encore And Some Had A Part Of ?pictures? & Or ?tank? Cut And Some Had About The 9:00 Mark Of ?pirates? A Recording Flaw Where Greg Sings The Same Line Twice. In 1977 A Company ?american Films Limited? Released An 85 Minute Video Of The Show. That Was The Good News. The Bad News Was Not Only Could They Have Fit 120 Minutes On The Video But They Decided To Have The Performance Out Of Sequence And They Made Their Own Edits!! Below Is How The Order Ran And What They Did To Some Of The Tracks. In Order To Get The Complete Gig And Use The Much Better Sounding Audio From The Video, A Hybrid Was Born Out Of The Audio And Video Versions. The Audio Versions Are All With Constant Changes In Sound And Frustrating To The Ears But For The True Fanatic, You Finally Can Have The Memories Of One Of Elp?s Most Important Shows Ever!!
Running Of The Video (differences In Times From Collector To Collector Are More Or Less Crowd Noise 1) Abaddon?s Bolero 1:10 (beginning & Few Seconds Of The End), The Enemy God 2:58, Karn Evil 9 (1st) Impression Part (2) 4:34 (video Edited Out The Ending Keyboard Notes Elp Used From ?karn Evil 9 (3rd ) Impression), Pictures At An Exhibition 13:28 (video Edited Out All But The First And Last Couple Of Seconds Of ?the Gnome?), C?est La Vie 4:38, Lucky Man 3:18, Piano Concerto (3rd Movement) 6:49 (video Edited Out All Of The 1st Movement), Tank 12:54, Nutrocker 4:04 (the Video Took Keith?s Words After ?nutrocker? When He Said ?did You Like That?. Would You Like To Hear It Again? And Edited Out ?would You Like To Hear It Again? To Make It Seem As If Keith Was Talking About Carl And His Solo During ?tank.? After Those Words Elp Played The ?nutrocker Reprise? But The Video Edited All Of The ?reprise? As Well As Most Of The ?improvisation? Before The Song Started, Pirates 13:29 & Fanfare For The Common Man/rondo/fanfare (reprise)/outro Music/crowd Noise 17:03
