Ok...this is a very poor recording. I'm only releasing it because Miracle Orchestra is a great band, and although this show was taped, I haven't seen it available anywhere. I was like 5 rows of people back from the stage (the Paradise is a pretty small club). I had a dynamic microphone that I use for recording vocals and acoustic guitar tracks at my house, it's from the 1980's i believe. It picks up everything. However, it was recording in mono and it has this kid who was standing next to me's voice was on it. He wouldn't shut up!! There's also some clips and scattered noise throughout the recording. That's because the cable from the mic kept on falling out of the line in on the MD. The mic was somewhat wrapped around my back so it was resting on my shoulder. I know that sounds f'd up and it is. I had no other way. I did my best editing those noises and clips out. I've seen other copies of the John Scofield set (i have a DAT copy) but the kid who taped Scofield didn't tape Miracle. oh well.....just thought i'd warn you before i get e-mails saying "why is this recording f'd up!"
